This course is for paddlers who wish to learn tandem river canoeing. No prerequisites are required to register for this training. These two days of training will help you familiarize yourself with tandem canoeing, river morphology, and the various maneuvers for navigating in whitewater. In this training, we will begin by learning basic strokes in a tandem canoe, both in the bow and in the stern. Then, we will go into whitewater and Class 1 rapids to practice maneuvers and learn to navigate in the current. Inclusions
- Qualified and experienced instructors
- Days on the water typically from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Tandem canoe equipped for whitewater (painter, bailer, thigh straps, knee pads)
- Personal flotation device, paddle, and helmet

Exclusions
- Appropriate clothing for paddling depending on the time of season, a more detailed list will be provided
- Lunch and snacks for the day
- Accommodation for the duration of the training, you must find a place to stay in the area
