Introduce yourself to canoe camping and step outside your comfort zone. Enjoy some amazing food cooked on the fire, sleep under the stars in the comfort of your tent, and discover a new interest for your backyard.
Our goal with Discover Expeditions is to create a stepping stone for women who are curious about canoe camping but need a gentle introduction. We hope that you learn to feel comfortable in a canoe, dip your toes in the water, and fall in love with the experience that awaits you.

The Zec Martin Valin has been welcoming canoe-camping enthusiasts to its territory for over ten years. Magnificent circuits with well-maintained and partially serviced campsites pass from lake to lake. Expeditions take place in the heart of the mythical Mont Valins.
DISCOVERY EXPEDITION
Open to all
Day 1
9:00 AM Meeting at the designated point*, personal equipment check, basic canoeing and camping concepts, travel to the campsite for the weekend, dinner and evening campfire
Day 2
Exploration of the body of water, swimming, developing canoeing skills, relaxation time, return to the campsite at the end of the day
Day 3
Return by canoe to the put-in point, closing activity, activities scheduled to end around 3 PM
